As per the Undergraduate Bulletin’s truncated course description, ENGL 146 is designed to cover “readings in and theories of science fiction, utopian and dystopian literatures, and fantasy fiction.” This semester, we’ll be looking at recursive sci fi and fantasy literature: books and films that mess with time, that begin at ending or end at the beginning, will be the order of the day.
